Athena
Hi, I’m Athena, the owner of Salon at the Silk. Growing up around cosmetologists sparked my passion for the beauty industry, and in 2005, I took a leap and enrolled in beauty school in Long Island, New York.
I’ve had the privilege of working in a luxury salon and spa in New York, where I learned and grew, as well as continued my education with Aveda in Soho and L’Oréal. Although I briefly explored other avenues, my heart never left the beauty industry. In 2021, I had the wonderful opportunity to take over Salon at the Silk and make it my own, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision.
At Salon at the Silk, we’re all about providing top-notch services in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our dedicated team is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques to ensure our clients leave feeling refreshed and beautiful.

Hey there! I’m Casi Melillo, a passionate stylist and manager at Salon at the Silk. With 6 years of experience, I’ve turned my childhood love for hair into a rewarding career. At the end of the day, my ultimate goal is to ensure everyone who sits in my chair walks out feeling like the absolute best version of themselves.
When I’m not crafting stunning looks, you’ll likely find me curled up on my couch, lost in the pages of my Kindle, with a perfectly paired glass of wine. But don’t let my cozy moments fool you – I’m all about embracing the great outdoors and spending quality time with my loved ones, both human and furry.

Angerine
I’m Angerine, a skilled hair stylist who proudly graduated from Metro Beauty Academy in 2016. I’m all about embracing the art of color, especially when it comes to vivids and extensions. Trust me, I can whip up some seriously head-turning styles!
But hold up, there’s more to me than just fabulous hair transformations. When I’m not rocking the salon scene, I’m out there coaching softball and sharing my love for the game. And when I’m not chasing down fly balls or perfecting hairstyles, you can catch me hitting the trails and soaking up nature’s wonders with my fur baby.

Hey there, I’m Marissa! I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be accepting clients starting early fall. Get ready for some exciting hair transformations! My specialties lie in vivid fashion colors and creating those effortlessly beautiful lived-in blondes. But that’s not all—I’m also an expert in lash extensions, and I’m always up for trying new things and expanding my horizons.

Hi, I’m Maddie, and I recently graduated from Metro Beauty Academy. As a salon assistant, I’m thrilled to be working in an industry that truly ignites my passion for hair!
My main focus is on making every client feel genuinely beautiful and confident when they step out of my chair. I absolutely adore blonding, balayages, and creating stunning makeup looks.
Beyond the salon, I treasure spending quality time with my friends and family, creating lasting memories together. When the weather is nice, you’ll often find me lounging by the pool!

Hello there, I’m Rachel, the salon apprentice. I recently graduated with my Cosmetology license in the spring of 2023. I am learning to specialize in color & blonding techniques as its my favorite part about hair! I am a animal lover, and love the herbal smell of Aveda products. In my spare time you will see my hanging out with my family & friends. I love building things or doing small projects. The team will tell you how handy I can be!

The place to go for your spray tan!! If you have an upcoming event, wedding, baby shower, birthday party, go get your spray tan with Athena! She is amazing and the color you get leaves you feeling amazing! I used her for my wedding and was constantly getting compliments on my tan! 10/10 would recommend.
I went to work on Tuesday and all my coworkers told me how I was glowing and looked sun-kissed. Someone even asked if I had gone away on vacation! I highly recommend checking this salon out for a spray tan or for the stylists. The salon is super cute and chic!
The lovely Casi gave me a fresh fade and touched up my blue curls to give me a look I absolutely love. Top that off with her kind, funny, and warm demeanor & you couldn’t ask for a better salon experience. Wish I could give 10 stars!
